Workshops

In my workshops, I aim to help others find the shelter I did, and share the joy of writing and performing poetry.

I aim to create a safe space to reflect on the topic of the day. I’ve run workshops on spoken word artists, grief, belonging and celebrating the art of others.

I have several years of experience of devising and leading workshops and events for adults, young people and vulnerable groups. This includes young people at risk of offending, asylum seekers, and women at risk of experiencing domestic violence.

Read about a poetry workshop I devised and led for the Diocese of Southwark’s Black History Event.

Get in touch if you want to discuss running a workshop with me.

“Poets can translate trauma into something that people can face…. Poems are empathy machines.”
